Message usually for group buys, you'll need to secure the pricing first, i.e. ask your boss the following:

"if i can have X amount of orders, can i get this discount?"
or
"how many orders minimum would you be interested in offering a group buy pricing?"

and

"if I have your word, what's the time frame you want me to get that head count by?"

then you can gather commitment and confirmation, possibly payment, from potential buyers.

if you can't gather enough commited orders and payments by the set time frame, you can always cancel and refund.

if you DO reach the minimum, give some buffer to see if there are more potential buyers. You can always search of previous group buy posts that were along the lines of "Minimum purchases reached for groupbuy pricing! you'll have until the end of next week to get in with the confirmed price," etc etc.

I haven't received any emails from you in regards to this pricing or shipping details like you said. Not everybody frequent this board everyday. So it can be very likely for them to miss it.

So my advice would be to 1) email members who've expressed interested like you've stated, 2) post in classified titled "Kaminari Group Buy," 3) set a longer deadline, to give people time to respond, and to give yourself time to gather interest.

Side note, as someone have stated here b4 as a rule of thumb for group buys, expect 50% of expressed verbal interest to actually commit.
